About the Unicode browser

This is a simple Unicode browser app, made by Sascha Leib. All rights are reserved, but you are of course welcome to use it for free as it is.

The Unicode Standard is intellectual property of the Unicode Consortium, see their licensing page for more information.

The Noto font family that is used to display most characters is used under the SIL Open Font License.

This app does not set cookies nor does it use any other means of identifying users or collecting data. However, in order to display certain characters, it may be necessary to load additional font files from Google Fonts, which is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy.

This app is written in plain HTML, CSS and “vanilla” JavaScript, with just a little assistance from jMini, a lightweight JS toolbox from the same author.
